... or Heritage village.
Beautiful park in which some houses from a certain period had been brought.

House of Seven Glabes :

Built in 1907 for David and Mary Carr, brought in 1976 to Heritage Park.

Handmade, with "refrigerator" : ice brought by New Orleans men. There is already the telephone.

Plant Sumner House :

Built like a series of others which began in 1890's by Henry Plant, this one being built in 1912 but which needed to be rebuilt because of termites.

Boyer Cottage :

It was also a honeymoon cottage, for Mary and Joshua C. Boyer. The cottage is an example of vernacular Gulf Coast style architecture.

There is no electricity in the cottage, that's why they were cooking outside.

In 1978, the cottage was brought to Heritage Village.
