Annual ones : last a year, grow the year after with ugly leaves like lettuces
Perenial : bloom ever and ever.
Grow tissues are called meristems. Grow according to the seasons : dry or wet. With a system of ions (h+ and K+) and H2O (turgescence and plasmolysia with the vacuole's pressure).
In leaves, ploem and xylems carry sap.
